Effective October 18, 2026. This is the privacy policy for theoriginalalicia.com.
Updated October 24, 2026: full AI Team results open after you give your first name and email, and those records are kept for 24 months. Payment and booking records are kept for 7 years for tax and accounting. Unpaid, cancelled, and abandoned booking records are deleted after 90 days. Invitation records are kept for 24 months. Testimonials we do not publish are deleted 24 months after you submit them. Published testimonials are kept for 3 years after we stop using them. The same page added basic site-visit records and a Your choices note. Free resources and assessments explain the email gate and how long we keep those records.
Effective October 18, 2026. This website, theoriginalalicia.com, is run by The Original Alicia, the business name of a California sole proprietor. The Original Alicia provides HR and AI coaching and advisory and sells digital products here.

Forms: your name, email, phone if you give it, and what you write about your work or your request.
Free resources and assessments. To get the free AI Department Starter or your full results from the AI Team Readiness Assessment, Are You Ready for an AI Bot?, the Entrepreneur Bottleneck Assessment, the Career Pivot Assessment or the AI Team Assessment, you give us your first name and email. For the assessments we also save your answers, your scores and the results we show you. For the Career Pivot Assessment that includes your past roles and years in each, what you enjoyed, your interests, your skills check, your work priorities and the roles we matched. We use this to show and email your results or the file you asked for, to keep your private results link working, and to improve the tools. We save your consent choices with the wording, version and time. These emails come from hello@theoriginalalicia.com. We send news and offers only if you check that separate box, and every one has a one-click unsubscribe. We honor unsubscribes within 10 business days, usually much sooner. Supabase (database), Lovable (website hosting) and Resend (email delivery) process this information for us.
The optional notes signup on the Build page collects your first name and email only when you check the box, so we can send the welcome notes you asked for.
Purchases and bookings: Stripe processes payments and collects your card details. We store the order or booking, your name and email, the billing country and postal code Stripe returns, the product or service, the amount paid and any balance, your agreement to our booking terms with its date and version, and any times and time zone you send us. If you pick a time on our calendar, Calendly receives your name and email to hold it. We never see or store your full card number. For the workbook, after Stripe confirms the payment, we create a private download link for that order. The file stays in private storage.
Analytics: our own site code records which pages and buttons are used. Assessment events can also include the industry you chose and a score. When you submit a form, that record can include the email you entered. Our hosting provider may also log technical data such as IP address, browser type, and referring page to run and secure the site. We use this to see what is useful and fix what is broken. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking tools.
Basic site-visit records: the pages you view here, when, and a temporary visit ID kept in your browser tab (not a cookie). It clears when you close the tab. We use this only to see which pages are helpful. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers. Kept for up to 12 months.
To open your full AI Team results, we collect your first name and email. We save your assessment answers and the illustrative model we show you, and we email those results to you. If you also ask to pressure-test this with the team, we collect your name, email, optional phone and organization, and we email that request to our team with your results. We use service providers to send these emails and to store these records.
We keep the results record for 24 months after your last activity (taking the assessment, opening your results link or downloading the file), then delete it. We keep a pressure-test request for 24 months. You can request deletion by emailing hello@theoriginalalicia.com.
If you choose to share a testimonial, we collect what you enter on that form: your name, email, optional title and company, how you got access, your testimonial, any optional ratings or notes about a resource you tried, how you want to be identified, where you allow it to be used, your typed signature and date, and the permissions you check. If you upload a photo, it is kept in private storage. We do not store your IP address with a testimonial.
We use your testimonial only in the places you allow, and only after you approve the final wording. We show your name, photo, title, company or logo only if you said yes to each one. When your access calls for it, a short disclosure line appears next to your testimonial. We use your email to send you a copy of what you submitted and to confirm the final wording with you. Ratings and notes about a resource help us improve it and are not published.
You can withdraw permission at any time by emailing hello@theoriginalalicia.com. Within 10 business days we remove your testimonial from this website, our social media and current templates, and delete any photo you uploaded. We cannot recall items already printed, shared or sent before you withdrew, but we will not use them again.
We keep your testimonial, your permission record and any withdrawal record while the testimonial is in use and for 3 years after we stop using it, so we can show what you agreed to. If we do not publish your testimonial, we delete it 24 months after you submit it. We do not sell testimonial information.
Who we email. An admin may email a test invitation only to a person they know, and only when that person is in the United States. The message is a promotional email from The Original Alicia offering a free resource to try.
What we store. We store the first name, the email address, the resources we offered, any short personal note, the private invitation token, which invitation links were opened, and when we sent the invitation.
Testimonial consent. If you use the invitation to share a testimonial, we store the consent text you agreed to, the consent version, and the time you agreed, with the testimonial itself.
We keep invitation records for 24 months after we send them, then delete them. Testimonials follow the testimonial section above. If you opt out, we add your email to the marketing unsubscribe list. We keep that email and the date so we do not email you again.
To reply, deliver a file or product you asked for, keep a record of a purchase, and run the site.
A purchase or a free download does not add you to a marketing list. You join that list only when you check the box yourself. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
We do not sell personal information.
Stripe processes payments. Calendly schedules booked time. Supabase stores our database and private files. Lovable hosts the website. Resend sends our emails, including confirmations and invitations. We share only what each provider needs to do that job. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy, and Stripe also uses payment information for fraud prevention and legal compliance.
Do Not Track: our site does not change how it works when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, because we do not track you across other websites.
Our hosting provider may log technical data to run and secure the site, as described above. We do not add advertising or tracking tools that let other companies follow your activity across other websites.
Because we do not use third-party tracking, the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
How long we keep it. We keep your answers, results and delivery record for 24 months after your last activity (taking an assessment, opening your results link or downloading a file), then delete them. Private results links stop working after 12 months, and download links after 30 days. If you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address and the date so we don't email you again. You can ask us to delete your information anytime at hello@theoriginalalicia.com.
We keep payment and booking records for 7 years for tax and accounting.
We delete unpaid, cancelled, and abandoned booking records after 90 days.
Adults only. This site is for adults. Our assessments, downloads and email lists are for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 anywhere on this site, or from anyone under 18 through our assessments, downloads and lists. If we learn we have, we delete it. If you believe a child sent us information, email hello@theoriginalalicia.com. Family programs are led by a parent or guardian.
California residents. In California privacy terms, these forms collect identifiers (name, email) and professional or employment-related information (career answers). We use them only for the purposes above. We don't sell or share personal information, and we don't use it to infer characteristics about you.
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and ask us not to share it. Email hello@theoriginalalicia.com.
